Easy Step By Step Recipe Of Tawa Pizza Without Yeast


Hello everyone!
Today, I am going to post the recipe of tawa pizza which I made today and one thing which willl make you all very curios is that I have not used yeast in it. Yeast helps the dough to rise up and makes the dough fluffy too, but I have excluded it and have use baking powder instead, which is also a good option if you are out of yeast or don't want t use it. And one important note is that you have to use lots of vegetable oil or olive oil for making a soft dough.


Ingredients :-

For Dough
  • 2 cups all purpose flour ( maida )
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 6 tsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
For Toppings
  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese cut into small cubes
  • 50 gm mozarella cheese/processed cheese
  • Pizza sauce/tomato sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs and spices
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Method :-

1. Mix  Maida (all purpose flour ), salt, olive oil,and baking powder together and mix it well altogether. Add water and make a soft dough, if you find it stiff than add a little more water.

2. Roll out the dough, roll it the way you want, but i would recommend you to go for a thin crust or a medium crust pizza because we are going to make it on a tawa and if you make a very thick crust than it will take a lot of time to be cooked properly. I am rolling out a medium crust pizza.

3. After rolling out the dough , place the dough on a heated tawa or pan and cook one side of it on minimum heat.

4.Flip the pizza dough and spread the pizza sauce all over and than spread lots of grated cheese and add cottage cheese,finely chopped onion , and place sliced tomatoes on the top, you can also add other veggies like capsicum,mushrooms,olives etc.


5. Now, cover up the pan with the lid and cook it on minimum heat for 5 to 10 minutes so that it gets cooked well from inside too. Keep checking it in between.You can also check it by pinning it with a toothpick in between if the toothpick comes out clean than it cooked well from inside.

6.Serve it pinning hot and sprinkle some ,mixed herbs on the top to increase the flavor.
